Folks, Fixed 'history' ('h' and 'CNTL-h'). Fixed the ant type. Sped up initial color cycling. Number pad works. Sped up response to a key press in large disk video modes. Fixed the artifacts from the blinking cursor. Updated character set to include the arrow symbols thanks to Harold Lane. kaos and quantum entanglement

I came across this article at the futurism website. https://futurism.com/new-equation-explains-quantum-chaos/ One of the links , the author's , goes through to a location where the experimental and theoretical results , tend to show that quantum entanglement has strong similarities to the Julia set . This suggest another approach to taming quantum entanglement. The UNSW , Australia , depicts quantum entanglement as being a tenuous connection between two particles , or group of particles . Of course quantum entanglement is a three dimensional effect , four if you include time , to model this something like Mandelbulber might be used . There might be even more dimensions involved with quantum entanglement .

Well, you can change resolution/screen sizes, do color cycling, probably some other things that non-SDL XFractint doesn't do. Non-SDL XFractint has a command line option to specify the window size, I have mine set to 1920x1080 to fit my desktop. I haven't checked to see if any of the DOS Fractint memory limitations have been relaxed in XFractint, such as in the formula parser. SDL XFractint can't currently do things like reload saved images (at least mine crashes when I do that). It can crash mysteriously when dragging the XFractint window around on the desktop. In order to create a source package of the SDL version that can be compiled, I will need to create a Make file. Since I am developing in an IDE, I haven't done this yet. If by package it is meant a pre-compiled 32-bit version, then no, there is not one available. Although I am doing it now for the 64-bit SDL version, I prefer to not distribute pre-compiled versions for Linux. There are too many variables from one distribution to the next, and I can't guess what they all may be (or cause). Jonathan

If I last edited them under Linux, then the End Of Line coding could be incorrect (LF vs CR LF). I'll have a look at it.
