I'am someone who hate to repeate but i do not keep a linear list of what i posted lately and sometime go randome thru my personal par file in order to poste something. If sometime i repeate, NOTICE IT TO ME WITH A FEW BIG SENTENCE... i play lot's of game with my memory. Ok,Ok here is mandel egg a nice interior for mini_brot. I taught it what the time to designe or publicise one of the soft math interior i find for it. FOTD -- February 03, 2012 (Rating 7) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image is named "The Meaning of Life". I gave it this name when I wondered whether there is a deep meaning behind fractals such as today's, as well as behind fractals in general. After all, meaning is not something that exists out there in nature. It is a concept invented by the human race, which thinks in a cause and effect manner. We try to give a cause to everything that takes place because it disquiets us to know that some things might simply just happen with no prior cause. Today's image, which definitely did not just happen, lies in a valley along the edge of the 'fan' of the parent fractal created by combining 2.2 negative parts of Z^(-6.2) with 7 negative parts of Z^(-1.2) on each iteration before adding (1/C). This parent consists of the typical north-south chain of large bays and the prominent 'fan' found in many similar double negative exponents of Z type fractals. When I first saw the image, it appeared to have much potential, but finding a good color palette proved unusually difficult, and in the end, I could rate it no higher than a 7. The calculation time of 2-3/4 minutes borders on slowness. But as always, the FOTD web sites are there to bring instant relief to impatience. FOTD 02-02-12 (Blobs in the Night [8.5])

FOTD -- February 02, 2012 (Rating 8.5) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image is a blast from the past, a slight tweaking of an image that appeared several years ago. The image was created by the MandelbrotMix3 formula, which mixes four powers of Z on each iteration instead of the two that the MandAutoCritInZ formula mixes. The big drawback of the MandelbrotMix3 formula is that a critical value of initial Z must be found by hand, and even using the graphic method, which can be done with Fractint, the task is laborious. The real(p5) parameter is the critical value of today's iterated expression. In today's image, 0.4 parts of Z^(1.8), two parts of Z^(-0.8), one negative part of straight Z and two parts of Z^(0.8) are all combined before (1/C) is added. This strange mixture draws a parent fractal that resembles a ragged figure 8 with a broad stripe of chaos running horizontally through it and an obvious Mandeloid in the center of the stripe. To find today's image however, I checked the jagged southern edge of the figure 8, where the minibrots are plentiful. Much of the blob-like effect was achieved by rendering the image with the inside set to 'bof60'. The rating of 8-1/2 is held back because the image is a recycled one. The name "Blobs in the Night" came to mind when the image reminded me of one of my favorite junky old sci-fi movies, 'The Blob'. With so much stuff to calculate on each iteration, the image takes 4-1/4 minutes to finish, which is a bit slow by FOTD standards. But once again the web sites ride to the rescue. FOTD -- February 01, 2012 (Rating 8) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: For the first day of the new month, we return to the MandAutoCritInZ formula, a work-horse if ever there was one. We check the parent fractal that results when 2 negative parts of Z^(-22) are combined with 10 negative parts of Z^(-1.2) and (1/C) is added on each iteration. This parent fractal is an oversized thing consisting mostly of a large 'fan' with minibrots scattered along the edge of its blade. Today's scene is located in the East Valley of one of these minibrots. I named the image "Filigree" because of the delicate lace-like network surrounding the prominent central minibrot. Most of the lacy effect was created by rendering the image with the 'outside' set to 'summ'. The rating of an 8 is well above average, though I'm not sure it justifies the 8 slow minutes required to run the included parameter file. By the way fractint incremental version 11.04 really rock, i like epsilon . I observe a little probleme in the download of the last Muth frame. i assume my IFS development to be possibly in case.. i will send my result to Hal sometime. just got it. I'am on my personal laptop here and so from computer hasard to computer hasard it E_fect on it a little... for the rest i feel vibration shiver...brrr... try to parsed it on formula version 20.0 for error slot. just in case, my 11.04 react really according to what i feel.
