Yes.
Does it make sense to have the type parameter value be case sensitive? -- "The Direct3D Graphics Pipeline" -- DirectX 9 draft available for download <http://legalizeadulthood.wordpress.com/the-direct3d-graphics-pipeline/> Legalize Adulthood! <http://legalizeadulthood.wordpress.com>

Fractint and Xfractint only generate lower case fractal type names when they generate par entries. The only time it would be a problem is when you create a par entry by hand and put the upper case letters in yourself. This wouldn't be noticed in Fractint, but Xfractint doesn't accept it because case does make a difference. Jonathan

Why would fractint not notice? -- "The Direct3D Graphics Pipeline" -- DirectX 9 draft available for download <http://legalizeadulthood.wordpress.com/the-direct3d-graphics-pipeline/> Legalize Adulthood! <http://legalizeadulthood.wordpress.com>

Don't know. I tried your par with Fractint first and didn't see any problem. Tried it with Xfractint, and it wouldn't run until I made the fractal type all lower case. Jonathan
