Ok, I tried that and observed a huge difference in speed in the Winfract 20. However, trying Frothbasin zoom in you can still detect a non-neglet difference in speed pro Paul´s developing version. Thanks Marcus

2. I was decived by the speed in Jonathan´s the new Winfract although it has all the Fractint´s types of fractals.

What do you mean by item 2? If you turn off the pixel-by-pixel update, it is fairly quick.
