Have you tried compiling Xfractint with gcc 3.2? I upgraded to Mandrake 9.0 yesterday and there appear to be some issues with gcc.

I fixed this using the -fno-builtin compiler parameter. We'll need to do it right after patch 5 is released. Jonathan
