Hi Jonathan, Please let me try to compile the source that you have created. I will use VC++ v6.0 and it has a great debugger. There are a number of differences between 16 bit and 32 bit message structures and this could be a key to the problem. If we can find a way to segment the task, I'd love to be part of it. I have done a lot of work with ManpWIN which is based heavily on the original WINFRACT code. I have developed true colour modules and animation scripting and would love to share these with you. I can provide the full source if anyone is interested. It's not in particularly good shape as I'm always playing with it :) This stream has deviated quite a bit from FRACTINT and uses PNG to allow true colour file saving.
Help with this would be greatly appreciated. My current dilema is that I have no clue how to figure out where the GPF is occurring. And, I spent way too much time on this project Saturday and Sunday. (So need to not look at it for a day or two) I've looked at your source in the past, and my understanding of the workings of Windows programs has only marginally increased since then. I am reading (when not programming) Charles Petzold's "Programming Windows 3.1", but there is only so much time in a day.
