Charlie,
the machine (at work) runs MsWin2K and those steps are: 1) run WinFract (default Mandelbrot renders) 2) <t> choose l-system type 3) <F6> choose snoopy.l (http://fractint.oblivion.cz./snoopy.l) 4) pick "!.FractInt" entry 5) set order to 4 <Enter> 6) while it computes pick any menu item 7) -> crash
Thanks, I'll give that a try. It could be a problem with the particular l-system you are using as an example.
btw, I can't figure out how to stop the calculation, <Esc> didn't work..
Yes, I've found that irritating already. However, WinFract is a Windows program and we should be moving away from all the old acceleration keystrokes. Or, maybe not. I kind of like them.
amazing and pleasant, especially when the win coding needs are far beyond my imagination.. and even beyond interests.. do you consider this merge to be a kind of a port or a migration?
How about a port and a migration. Ultimately, we will need to abandon the DOS code. Although, at our current rate of progress, that could be another fifteen years. Jonathan
