The <v> screen will tell you if the data in our VESA buffer is being changed by the switch to text mode. This confuses things if it doesn't get switched back when going back to graphics.
and what if there is a problem with VESA bios destroying the BP reg.? looking at the other video routines, BP is often saved there before INT 10h call because of safety reasons.. this would result in some variables having "changed" their values.. (caused by the wrong BP-based adressing..) but as i have no problems with virt.modes, i can't test if it helps.. charlie ______________________________________________________________________ Reklama: Soutez o 10.000,- Kc a jedno z deseti baleni noveho Aquafresh Whitening systemu - pro zarive bile zuby, intenzivne svezi dech a cela Tva usta. http://ad2.seznam.cz/redir.cgi?instance=43403%26url=http://www.icewhitening....
