I have the old Winfract 18.21 that takes lesser time to draw the fractals
as
compared with the new Fractint 20.xxxx in my XP, but IT IS an obsolete
software.
1. I was amazed of Paulīs
http://www.deleeuw.com.au/download/SetupManpWIN.exe
that is very, very
rapid, but was disappointed by the small number of types
of fractals
available and color changes dificulties. (He says he used the
old Winfract
routines).
2. The other way, I was decived by the
speed in Jonathanīs the new Winfract although it has
all the Fractintīs
types of fractals.
I know that I will aways be a fervorous fan of
Fractint, an almost 20 years
of fidelity, but newer and newer Windows are
making it slower.
As I cannot even think in contributing in any programing, I
humbly subject
the proposition of "linking" the speed achieved by Paulīs
with the Winfract
friendly status bar of Jonathanīs, including his complete
fractal types, as
much as Fractintīs.
Thanks
