Robin,
I've got a laptop all set up with debian gnu/linux and have got xfractint compiling now so I'll see if I can get my old dxf output patch in to warm up.
I'm using the Mandrake distribution on both a laptop and a desktop. The desktop isn't really set up again after loading Mandrake 8.0. The C compiler and other necessary programs/include files disappeared.
I'm also getting familiar with CVS and have my own server hanging off a cable modem now and I'll see if I can't get xfractint checked in for us to play with if you like (though ISTR Damien may have CVS on julia already which might be a better option)
I've read a little about CVS. Tried playing with it using a Windows version with no luck at all. Not even using a local repository. I do know that Damien needs to give us read/write access to the repository on julia before we'll be able to use it. Haven't said anything about it out of laziness. And, considering my current project of compiling with -Wall and using indent, I'd need to check out the whole source anyway. Which is the whole idea. Duh! 8-)) Happy Holidays, Jonathan
