That's a good idea! We could at least use that to generate a suite of baseline images from the existing code and then generate the same set from the driver code base and do a quick image compare.
Finally had a break in this week's very busy work schedule to read through the recent postings that have been made since Sunday evening. The above is a very good idea. But how many images would be needed to make sure that all fractal types were adequately covered for the testing between OLD and NEW ?? I am willing to make time and assist in generating as many of the images as I possibly can using the current 20.4.04 version of DOS FractInt. Just not sure what should be agreed upon as the size and types to "generate a suite of baseline images".
