That's be cool too. Then you wouldn't have to make the user adjust the maximum iterations! Your program, however, doesn't have arbitrary precision, correct?

Check out the Rima Mandelbrot explorer (http://jtoomim.org/rima/ ) and you'll notice that it can display each iteration as it's calculated. I wrote my own program once simply because I wanted this feature. It'd be really neat if Fractint had this. Hopefully this wouldn't be a problem for the algorithmic optimizations Fractint uses.
