Fractint and Xfractint only generate lower case fractal type names when they generate par entries. The only time it would be a problem is when you create a par entry by hand and put the upper case letters in yourself. This wouldn't be noticed in Fractint, but Xfractint doesn't accept it because case does make a difference. Jonathan
