Dear Cougar Sportsline subscriber,
I am finding that more and more subscribers are saying that they are
not receiving their issues of Cougar Sportsline in a timely manner. I have also
determined that in almost all cases it is because the issues are landing in
your spam or junk mail boxes instead of your In box.
The problem is because I use a bulk mailing program to send the letter
because the big volume of names on my data base. Consequently, for whatever
reason, randomly some subscribers’ email programs will suddenly consider
the letter as spam or junk.
99 percent of the time, if you don’t find the letter in your In
box on Monday, you will find the letter in one of those other boxes.
To alleviate the problem, there is a simple solution. Just add my email
address, hbarnett@fiber.net, to your
safe sender list. That stops the problem.
Even if you haven’t experienced delivery problems yet, I still
suggest you add my address to your safe sender list avoid any future issues.
The frequency of this problem is increasing and I am receiving more and
more inquiries from subscribers as to where there letter is.
By following the advice above, it will fix the issue for you and me
both.
