If He Throws Like a Starting Quarterback and Talks Like A Starting Quarterback…He Is Your Starting Quarterback
BYU coaches announced late Friday afternoon that Tanner Mangum will start the season at quarterback this coming Saturday, September 1 against Arizona. The game is set for Tucson.
I’ve compiled some clips of Mangum throwing during random fall practice sessions. He looks good to me.
He has always said the right things when it comes to the big picture and team.

In other big news, BYU named their starter for holding field goal attempts. There are no videos or post-practice interviews for this guy, but just let him muff a game winning field goal attempt against Arizona and he will be the most famous Cougar of this year. Drum roll please…..Gavin Fowler.
