Writers Matty Glasgow and Diana Clarke will read from theirworks on Wednesday, January 15th at 7:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City PublicLibrary as part of the City Art Reading Series and the Utah Humanities CouncilBook Festival. This event is free and open to the public. MattyLayne Glasgow is the author of deciduous qween (Red Hen Press,2019), selected by Richard Blanco for the 2018 Benjamin Saltman Award. Hisrecent poems have appeared in Crazyhorse, Denver Quarterly, Ecotone,Missouri Review, Poetry Daily, Houston Public Media, andelsewhere. He is a PhD candidate in Creative Writing at the University ofUtah where he serves as the Wasatch Writers in the Schools Coordinator and theAssistant Editor for Quarterly West. In his downtime, you canfind him worshiping his holy trinity of trees, drag queens, and Kacey Musgraves. Diana Clarke isa New Zealander pursuing her PhD at the University of Utah. Her work hasappeared in Black Warrior Review, DIAGRAM, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. Her debutnovel, Thin Girls, is forthcoming from Harper Collins.
