This event is free and open to the public. Forover a decade, Segullah has been sharing women’s stories in our journal, blog, and publications. The first two anthologies, The Mother in Me and Dancewith Them, focused on narratives of motherhood. Segullah wishes torecognize a broader scope of experience in their third offering. There are so many ways tolearn, share and become reshaped through a spectrum of transitions.Contributors crave the catharsis of writing through the change. They writetrying to understand the cycles of life and embrace their reshaped selves. Joiningthe Church or re-examining faith; falling in love or sharing a marriage bed formany years; sending children out on their own or taking estranged parents backinto their lives; illness, divorce, and new careers—all of these changes (andmore) force us to examine, regroup and adapt. Theevent is free and open to the public. City Art is sponsored by the Utah Arts Council, the Salt Lake City ArtsCouncil, Zoo, Arts, and Parks, X-mission, and audience donations. Joel Long
