Award winning poet Craig Arnold will read from his work on February 18th at the Salt Lake City Public Library at 7:00 P.M. as part of the City Art Reading Series. Craig Arnold is the author of two poetry collections, “Made Flesh,” which was published by Ausable press in 2008. His other collection, “Shells,” was selected by W.S. Merwin as the 1998 volume of the prestigious Yale Series of Younger Poets. Arnold’s poems have appeared in “Best American Poetry” in 1998, 2004 and 2006, as well as in the journals “Poetry,” “The New Republic,” “Paris Review,” “Yale Review” and “Poetry Northwest.” He has received the Rome Prize, a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, the Hodder Fellowship from Princeton and the Amy Lowell Poetry Traveling Scholarship. Arnold is the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship to Colombia and a U.S.-Japan Creative Artists Exchange Fellowship. He teaches at the University of Wyoming. The event is free and open to the public.
