Poet Dave Nielsen will read from hiswork on Wednesday, November 9th at the Salt Lake City Public Library at 7:00P.M. as part of the City Art Reading Series. Dave Nielsen’s manuscript, Unfinished Figures, recently won the Blue LynxPrize and was published in September. His poems have appeared in Ploughshares,The Southern Review, North American Review, The Cortland Review, Parnassus,Cutbank, and elsewhere. He holds a PhD from the University ofCincinnati and has taught at several colleges and universities, includingXavier University, Northern Kentucky University, and University of Cincinnati.He lives in Salt Lake City. Most featuredreadings are followed by an open reading.
