[BSLWAC] lcgft records

I'm curious as to how people (Voyager libraries in particular) are handling the new and deleted genre authority records. We're struggling with it here. The new authority records don't match up with our old bibs, since they're coded as "other", not as LC. Will this be discussed at the ALA users meeting?
