re-port
an account given of a particular matter, especially in the form of an official
document, after thorough investigation or consideration by an appointed
person or body
At Backstage, we have always had more reports than our competition. And, as the years went on, we tended to keep adding more reports mainly because our customers would ask for certain scenarios or issues to be reported out.
In the recent past, we toyed with the idea of scrapping our reports and trying to cram as much useful information across different sets into perhaps just five solid reports instead. But this is a difficult task when there may be yet another report around the corner that makes sense to start including as an option for everyone else.
It is probably safe to say that we have a monster set of reports available now, for either authority control processing or RDA enrichment. In fact, trying to sort through these reports can be overwhelming for our customers, I imagine.
Our intent with the reports is to give you exactly what you want to look at with the full realization that you may willfully ignore complete swaths of other kinds of our reports-and that's okay. The last thing we want to do is make the review process any more time-consuming for you. Alas, we also want to leave no stone unturned when it comes to your processing.
So what, if any, is the compromise? As a start, we have generated a "legend" of sorts for using our reports. You can click on this link and it will download a small zip file with a spreadsheet listing the reports and what they correspond to with regards to our profile options:

Of course, there are many other reports that you may find useful and frequently use and that's great. We always want to make sure we have you covered; at the same time, we would like to make it easier for you if we can.
Along those lines, we really do welcome any feedback about how to make our reports more useful. Please feel free to respond either on- or off-list about what we can do to improve your workflow with regards to our reports.
