Bindlestiff Family Cirkus Update - 2/27
March is a big month of Cirkus. The annual NYC Winter Cirkus Cabaret opens on March 1, the final Cirkus Cabaret show in Hudson happens on March 9, two Cavalcade of Youth shows are taking place, the monthly Open Stage continues, and a grand Cirkus Spectacle will be taking place at the end of the month in CT. We then head to the West Coast in April.

Bindlestiff's legendary Cirkus Cabaret returns to Dixon Place. Every show features a line up of world class variety acts. Many of these artists have been seen with Cirque du Soleil, Ringling Brothers, Big Apple Cirkus, and stages around the world. Hosted by Ringmistress Philomena, the show will include aerial artists, sideshow marvels, vaudevillians, circus acts, and the live music of the Bindlestiff Band. These shows are not for children!

Family Cirkus legendary cabaret has moved into Club Helsinki in Hudson, NY. Importing many Bindlestiff favorites from around the world and adding some of the variety stars of the borscht belt, catskills, and capital region, Bindlestiff's cabaret provides a needed dose of Cirkus in the midst of cold winter nights.

Bindlestiff's laboratory for circus and variety arts has found a new home. Dixon Place is devoting the first Monday of every month is to the monthly "open mic for circus." This is a night for works in progress, emerging artists, and professional trying something new or dusting off something old. You never know what you may witness.
