Bindelstiff Family Cirkus Update

BINDLESTIFF ON TIMES SQUARE

This coming week we present three shows a day on Fri, Sat and Sun. Showtimes will be 7, 9 and 10:30 pm on Fri and Sat. And 4, 6, and 8 on Sunday. Philomena will host an hour long spectacle featuring the aerial artistry of Tanya Gagne, The comedic music of the Kourageous Kipplengers, the sword swallowing of Mr. Pennygaff, the clowning of Vladimir "Volvic" Olshanky, the Human Blockhead, target bull whip, juggling, and much more. All to the live accompaniment of the Binldestiff Family Cirkus Band.

SEEKING ODDITIES AND DISPLAY ITEMS
We are seeking displays for the Free Museum of Times Square, e.g. mutascopes, nickelodeons, band organs, fijii mermaids, Zeigfeld costumes, fortune tellers, penny presses, etc. So if you have any good notions, let us know.

SEEKING ACTS
Auditions Every Thursday!
Bindlestiff is seeking acts to participate in the weekend variety shows. Auditions at the Palace of Variety's take place through the Thursday Night Open Mic hosted by Lilly Lipid, EVERY THURSDAY at 11 pm. Acts should be 5 to 7 minutes in length. Performers are asked to arrive at 10:30 to sign up. If you require special technical needs--aerial rigging, special lighting, etc., please contact us prior to the performance. VOLUNTEER AND SEE THE SHOW FOR FREE

The Autonomadic Bookmobile, the illegitimate love child of the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus and Autonomedia, is on the road. Keep an eye out for the traveling infoshop and live show. If you are itching for a bit of Cirkus, the Bookmobile is the perfect cure. Just because you don't see a listing here for your town, that doesn't mean the bookmobile won't be stopping there. only certain gigs are listed. if you see that the bookmobile will be nearby, look for it on a heavily pedestrian street in your own town. better yet, email bookmobile@bindlestiff.org with questions and suggestions.
