Don't let the The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus Palace of Variety
and FREE Museum of Times Square become another casualty of the
devastating sanitization of Times Square! This is your
chance to show that you care about variety entertainment and the
performers who bring their talents to New York to make this the
greatest city in the world!
Since August 2002, more than 50,000 people have visited
the Palace of Variety and FREE Museum of Times Square. Now we
need you to show your support by attending what could be one of our
last performances. If we do not raise over $20,000 in the next
three weeks, we will be forced to close our doors, and the ONLY live
vaudeville and variety arts theater and museum in Times Square
will cease to exist!
All next week we will be hosting special performances and on
Saturday January 18th, The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus will host a
day of performances to help us raise the money we need to stay in
Times Square. This day will provide you with the opportunity to join
our extended community and see one of four special shows, held at
4:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 10:00 pm and Midnight. All tickets to these shows
will be only $20, ($22 if purchased online). Each performance will
include prize give-aways, t-shirt raffles, and opportunities to
support the Palace of Variety.
Seating is limited for each performance, and we urge you to
buy your tickets in advance as we will be unable to ensure
availability on January 18th. A limited number of standing room only
tickets will be available. To purchase your tickets in advance with
your Visa or Mastercard, call our box office at 212-869-3376. You can
also purchase tickets online at
www.imar.com by entering
"Experience # 1580."
Please plan to visit what is surely one of the most unique venues
and entertainment offerings in New York. If you cannot make any of
these special shows, or the performance you want to see is sold out,
you can still make a donation by using one of the methods
outlined at the end of this message. Any gift, small or large,
will go a long way to say that you support the Bindlestiff Family
Cirkus and its commitment to preserve the Variety Arts in New
York City.
We want to thank you in advance for your help, and we look
forward to seeing all of our friends this week and especially on the
18th of January. Visit the Palace of Variety and FREE Museum at 125
West 42nd Street and see what New York will lose if we close.
