The Autonomadic Bookmobile Roadshow, the love child of the Bindlestiff
Family Cirkus and Autonomedia, will appear in New England on the
following confirmed dates:
[Guide for the perplexed: "ABM" refers to an appearance of the
Bookmobile itself. This means that this brightly painted bookshop on
wheels, a medicine show of small press books and zines, will appear in
your town - outdoors, free of charge, and weather-depending, of course.
Some sideshow schtik will probably occur.
"AS" refers to the full-fledged Autonomadic Sideshow. While the
Bindlestiff Family Cirkus
continues the run of Buckaroo Bindlestiff's Wild West Gender Bender
Jamboree (www.bindlestiff.org) in NYC this spring, sideshow fans need
not despair. The Bookmobile crew will perform 10 or more hair-raising
acts on a stage near you!!! This includes bed of
nails, bug-eating, iron tongue, fire, knife-throwing, and lots more.]
